Jenny Hurst
Jenny has been involved, on a local and national level, on various strategic advisory and evaluation panels concerning Independent Living. She has a special interest in Disabled people's Rights, Direct Payments, Personal Budgets and the Personalisation Agenda, and has been a Personal Assistant employer since 1996. Jenny currently works as a Personal Budgets Coordinator in a Disabled Person’s Organisation in a different London borough, as well as being casually employed to interview older and disabled people who use home care services, as part of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection process. Additionally, Jenny regularly participates in delivering CQC staff training around the importance of User Invovlement/Engagement. In her free time Jenny studies part-time for a degree in French and Spanish at the University of London.
Mónica Grinfeld BSc, MSc, FHEA, FICPD
Mónica is a lecturer at the University of Westminster and the Disability Tutor for the School of Architecture and the Built Environment. She is also a professional consultant active in business and a regular contributor of articles for the professional press, including RIBA Journal, Construction Manager and various other publications.

In addition, Mónica is a member of the Court of Governors of the University of Westminster, a Director of the Continuing Professional Development Foundation, a former Management Board member of Hyde Housing Association and the Hyde Group, and a past Examiner for the ISVA (Incorporated Society for Valuers and Auctioneers) and RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
