Client Coffee Morning

We have so far held 5 meetings this year with some of our service users. These have proved to be very interesting and informative and are a great way of acquiring new information on disability issues and pooling ideas.

They have been very well attended and topics discussed have included Support Plans and ISF, Keep Warm Scheme, Handyperson Scheme, New Benefits and latest rates, Disabled Rail Cards, P2P Marketplace, Safeguarding Issues and many other subjects as well.

The next meeting will take place December in the cafe at the Forum @ Greenwich at 11.00. We would like to invite more service users to come along and share experiences, learn new ideas and get to know the latest developments in the borough. It is also nice to come along, have a cup of coffee and meet people in similar circumstances.

GAD Social Groups

All meetings take place on Thursdays between 2.00pm and 4.00pm in the Family Room, The Forum@Greenwich, Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, SE10 9EQ.

There will be no Social Groups during the Paralympics due to the expected traffic congestion.

DEAF LUNCH CLUB
11:00AM-3:30PM

Every Friday at the Hoy Café, Greenwich
Remark! Community welcomes all local residents of Greenwich to our new Deaf lunch club. Join us and catch up with friends old and new, over a homemade lunch and some warming drinks.
We will have available a free advocacy service to offer guidance on any issues you have, and to help with writing letters and making phone calls.
Entry is £3 to include lunch, tea and coffee.
A transport service will also be arranged for members who are unable to take public transport.
