Our Personal Assistants
The Personal Assistant team work closely to promote the interests of our customers.
Every applicant is individually interviewed by a senior member of the team. The following checks are done on each member of our team:
- Check character references from previous employers
- Verify with the Disclosure and Barring Service
- Must have or be working towards NVQ Care qualification
- Language skills in English, Sign Language and other community languages
- Undertake comprehensive induction and orientation along with Manual Handling, First Aid and Safeguarding training Courses
- Specialist training in Dementia and medication support
- Undertake regular reviews and supervision meetings to maintain quality of service
