TFL Travel Mentoring Scheme

To make it easier for disabled people to use mainstream transport, Transport for London (TfL) have been improving London’s buses, trains, boats, Trams, DLR and the Tube to make them more accessible.

If you would like to try out the transport options now available but are unsure how to do it, TfL’s free Travel Mentoring Service can give you guidance and support to help you get around London.

They can offer you telephone advice to help plan an accessible route, and they can provide a mentor to accompany you for your first few journeys as you gain confidence and become an independent traveller.

Travel mentoring is free of charge and is available from Monday to Friday, from 0800 until 1800. For more information or to arrange a travel mentoring session, call 020 3054 4361 or email travelmentor@tfl.gov.uk
